The dog days of summer have been rough around these parts the last few years. Of course, we’re always optimistic about The Birds, but that’s about it. Not this year, though. Because the Eagles are getting ready for another Super Bowl run, Jalen Hurts is an MVP candidate, and the beach has been incredible all summer. But there’s one other thing you might have missed while squeezing in as much vacation as you could these past few weeks. The Phillies are on a roll like you wouldn’t believe.
Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber are mashing homers and Bryson Stott is a hitting machine. Zach Wheeler is a Cy Young candidate and even Trea Turner is getting in on the fun. (All it took was some solid Philadelphia Brotherly Love to bring Turner out of his slump.)
